Murray Whitewater Festival
A decade on, and after one of the worst seasons for water levels on record, the Murray Whitewater Festival proves it's stronger than ever, drawing a great number of paddlers, hiking spectators and party goers again in 2015.
This unique grassroots event has proved to be the fabric for the fringe sport of whitewater kayaking in Western Australia. The festival is a simple combination of a great day of whitewater followed by an awesome party under the stars.
A highlight of this years event was all the new faces on the water as well as the number of spectators hiking in to plan their return in kayaks in 2016.
Thanks to Westy, Taity, Hewy, Harbs, LJ and Azza for all your efforts and another great event.
Lock the event in your calendar for next year, and if you are you keen to paddle for the first time get practising!
