Edward ‘Ted’ Dunn kicked off GME in 1959, and it remains a 100% Australian family-owned private company. GME manufactured their first EPIRB in 1979 and is the only Australian manufacturer of UHF radios and emergency beacons.

Their new MT610G GPS Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is incredibly compact, has a 7-year battery life and deserves a place on every packing list. Their broader range includes EPIRBS and VHF radios for ocean adventures and a range of mounted and portable radios for 4×4 communications.
