The Adventure Curated HD 4x4 Safety Flag is built to last. It's a three-piece design that stows as a compact 80cm overall length, easily fitting in a drawer alongside your recovery gear in your 4x4.

We initially designed this flag for ourselves. We'd tried several of the best available options, and they all quickly failed, one on the first dune of a Simpson Desert crossing. We wanted something better, and when we couldn't find it, we spent the time to design and test our own.

Our design features an oversized and extra heavy-duty base to handle the most significant leverage forces. The central joints are also heavy-duty but slightly smaller in diameter. All connections are quick releases, and the pole is comparatively oversized in diameter. These fittings are made from premium-grade stainless steel.

We recommend mounting the Adventure Curated HD 4x4 Safety Flag to the bull bar using all three pieces at 2.4m in length. This mounting position is the most visible to oncoming vehicles and makes it easy for you to keep an eye on your safety flag through any sections of track with trees.

Alternatively, join the top and bottom sections together at 1.6m and mount this to the front of your roof rack.

  • Weight: 1.8kg
  • Storage Length: 0.8m
  • Connected length: 2.4m
  • Meets Simpson Desert safety flag requirements
  • We recommend mounting using one of your bull bar antenna mounts for optimal position and strength
  • Roof rack mounting: use base and top sections only to add 1.6m and meet the 3.5m Simpson Desert requirement
  • 0.8m sections for easy transport in most 4x4 drawers
  • Includes stainless steel mounting pin
  • Manufactured: Australia
