The Spot also allows for dimming between four and two hundred lumens, which gives you the choice between maximum brightness or maximum battery life. We tend to toggle between the modes and conserve batteries where we can.

Compact, bright and frugal the Black Diamond Spot is also waterproof with an IPX8 rating. Headlamps have certainly progressed.
